Can I order when I get to BuJo Castleknock?

So, even if I am outside BuJo the only way to order is online?

Yes, that is correct. We strongly recommend ordering before you get to BuJo as there is a strong possibility that there may be no availability if you arrive without having placed an order. This is especially true for busy periods. 

Can I pay with cash or credit card on arrival?

All orders are placed & paid online - there are no ordering or payment options on site. We do not have cash on site or credit/debit card facilities. 

Why can’t I order and pay on site?

Our aim is to provide certainty to all our guests by offering guaranteed time slots thereby avoiding long queues and long wait times. Additionally, we wish to be respectful to our neighbours at Junction6 by not causing avoidable traffic problems on site. If we offered on-site ordering it would lead to lengthy queues and very long wait times. As previously mentioned  - order ahead online is the only option and will save you time!

When is the best time to place my order?

You can place your order online from 9am & choose your preferred collection time from the slots available later. We would always recommend placing your order early in the day to guarantee your preferred time slot later. From experience, it is definitely better to do this especially if you would like to guarantee your collection time during busy periods. 

Why can’t I see my preferred collection time?

This means that this collection time has been taken. You will only see the available collection times. Top Tip: Order early to guarantee your preferred time slot!

What are your opening and closing hours?

Mon & Tue 12 - 9pm
Wed & Thurs 12 - 9.30pm
Fri & Sat 12 - 10pm
Sunday  12 - 9pm

You can place your order online from 9am on the morning of collection.  

Can I eat at BuJo?

BuJo Castleknock is a Click & Collect service and there are over 300 parking spaces on site.

How do I add to my order if I've forgotten something?

Place a new order with your forgotten item(s). Send us a DM via Google Maps with your two order numbers and request to merge the orders. No harm arriving a little earlier just in case to let us know if we haven’t responded.

Where is BuJo in Castleknock?

BuJo Castleknock is located at Junction 6 Health & Leisure Village where the N3 meets the M50. Use our Google Maps link here to get driving directions to us and to check traffic - we definitely recommend using this to arrive here slightly earlier than later. Traffic can be nuts everywhere at the moment & we find Google Maps gives pretty accurate information to forward plan your journey to us. We recommend setting an alert on your phone well in advance of your chosen collection time just to get traffic updates...

I’ve arrived to Junction 6 but how do I get to BuJo?

Follow the three BuJo signs after you turn into Junction 6. Do not turn right at the bottom of the hill. Drive past Insomnia Coffee and continue all the way around the entire site. If you are collecting from our Drive Thru pick up window, veer right into the dedicated BuJo lane and continue very slowly until you get to the Pick-Up window directly under the over-hanging container. Otherwise, as you approach BuJo from the far side, keep left, grab a parking space and collect from one of our Walk Up collection hatches at the front of BuJo. NB: There are many other businesses here and lots of people, (including children), going to & from their cars...please do exercise great caution by driving very, very slowly on site. 

How do I contact the restaurant if I'm late for my order pick up?

The only way to contact us is via DM at our Google Maps page.  Please note, from experience allow yourself extra time to get here - always better to be slightly early. If we have already commenced cooking your order we will keep it nice and hot for you until you get here!

Is my order freshly prepared?

Always! As you have let us know your collection time from your online order, we prepare your order to be ready for you at that time and cook it fresh everytime. 

Does your food travel well?

We always recommend that your food be enjoyed as soon as you receive it. This applies to any hot food from any restaurant and is even more relevant for our menu. We ensure that your food will be prepared fresh for you, if you are running late we will keep it on a hot surface, (but not your shakes - we’ll keep them chilled in the fridge), until you arrive.

What do I do with your packaging?

Great question! All our packaging is fully compostable so you can put everything into your brown bin - including the plastic looking straws, lids, cups & containers, they are actually made from plants! The only exceptions are if you have purchased drinks such as soda or juices. These will be for your recycling bin. BuJo is the only burger-focused restaurant in Ireland & the UK to hold a 3 Star rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

Are any of your menu items Gluten Free?

Yes! We provide a Gluten Free bun to the beef and vegetarian/vegan burgers. Our fries are Gluten free also. You can order your GF bun option by tapping the ‘customise’ button after selecting your burger.

Is the menu the same as Sandymount?

Yes, all the favourites from Sandymount are on the menu in Junction 6! Our entire menu is overseen by our Culinary Director Gráinne O’Keefe - one of Ireland’s leading chefs who also happens to be from the area!

Can I change my pick up time?

Once you have confirmed your order time this is the time we will have it ready for you. We would recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get here early by using our Google Maps link here. If you are early we will do our best to prioritise your order - just pop up to our walk-up hatch, (not the drive-thru) to let us know. At peak periods we may not be able to accommodate but will do our best.

Any tips to suggest when placing my order?

We sure do! Before pressing the Pay Now button we would recommend reviewing your order to specifically double check that the following are correct:

  • Your chosen collection time
  • The items/customisations you ordered 
  • The collection location you chose, (Sandymount or Castleknock).
Will you send me details of my order?

Of course! Upon completion of placing your order we will automatically send you an email to the address you provided, (check your spam/junk folder also), which will confirm the following details:

  • The location you chose to collect from, (Castleknock or Sandymount)
  • Your order number.
  • The time you placed the order.
  • The collection point you chose.
  • Items you ordered.
  • The amount your order cost.
  • Link to Google Maps to forward plan your journey.
